TEACHING VACANCIES

PROGRESS LEADER

Up to UPR: £39,406 p.a plus TLR 1B (£9,666 p.a)

Required for September 2019

An opportunity has arisen to appoint a talented and energetic teaching professional as a Progress Leader.  They will lead a community of staff and students, promoting learning, evaluating performance across the curriculum and making interventions to ensure our students reach their full potential. An individual with specialism in teaching either Science, Maths or Design and Technology would be most desirable

·       hold QTS status (Teacher of Science, Maths or Design & Technology most preferable)

TEACHER OF ART - TMS

Required September 2019 a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join this successful Art Department team. The ability to offer a ceramics specialism would be preferable but is not essential.

Shoeburyness High School is an expanding and forward-looking school and Art remains a very popular subject with nine groups in years 10 and 11; we are committed to promoting the creative subjects within our curriculum. Required September 2019 or early start, a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our successful Design & Technology Department. Applicants with the ability to teach more than one discipline within Design & Technology up to GCSE and A-Level are particularly welcomed.

TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS

Required September 2019 or early start, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Maths in our large, vibrant and successful department where GCSE results are above national. Applicants must be able to demonstrate outstanding teaching ability, have a creative approach to the delivery of mathematics and be committed to raising standards of achievement. TEACHER OF SCIENCE

We are looking to appoint an amazing Science teacher to join our outstanding Department.

NON TEACHING VACANCIES

LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTS

LGS Level 4 Points 6 – 7, £19,171 - £19,554 p.a. pro rata.  28.86 hours per week - Term Time Only.

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistants. The LSAs appointed would work either within a designated department at the school offering support as required within the faculty, or work with a named student.

Good ICT, literacy and numeracy skills essential.  Experience of working with young people is desirable, however, training will be provided.
